Twitter, Harleys, and rain. Oh My.
Ok, so I’ve been neglecting this blog. With all I do online every day, it’s no wonder really lol. I just can’t believe that summer’s almost over. It’s almost time for the kids to go back to school?? OMG They start HS this year. How can it be possible that I’m old enough to have kids in high school? When did that happen?
I’ve been spending a lot of time updating scripts for client sites, wow… between the WordPress and forum script updates, that’s becoming a full time job. I’ve also been enjoying my time on IMVU, developing 3D clothing and jewelry for the most part. It’s been a great outlet for me. Now all the “playing” I do in my graphics programs is actually productive too lol!
There was a really late start to summer here this year, due to an unbelievable amount of RAIN. Now that it’s not (always) raining daily, the heat and humidity is out of hand. We have been able to enjoy riding, even though we mostly wait until the heat of the day is over and wind up going out in the evenings instead. Lake George has been a popular destination this summer. Last weekend’s dinner at Montcalm‘s was definitely a highlight!
I spent some time today getting re-acquainted with Twitter. I changed my user name there to match this blog, and my IMVU user name in hopes that more people might find me (yanno, if they’re lookin for me that is lol). I find the whole Twitter revolution intriguing… not completely sold on it yet, but I want to give it a fair shot before wandering away again. *Note to self: Must find/create a decent looking twitter graphic for my IMVU homepage!
Well, it’s storming here again right now so I guess I’ll take advantage of the time at home to catch up on some stuff I’ve been putting off. I’ve turned procrastination into an art form. 😉
